The Sound of Nature
The Entreq Silver Minimus Infinity Ground Box is the same physical size as the original Silver Minimus, but it has much greater capacity than the original version and is a nice step up when you compare them side by side. The original Silver Minimus was very popular, it was small, affordable and was incredibly effective at removing noise/pollutants from whatever you connected it to. It used the same mineral mix as the Silver Tellus (but just less of it).
In performance terms this new model is quite a bit better than the original, customer feedback has been excellent, everyone who has heard one has been very impressed. The Silver Minimus Infinity unlocks more detail with greater resolution and transparency compared to the Minimus Infinity which is more rounded in comparison.
The Entreq range of ground boxes is designed to remove noise and pollutants present in the signal path. By removing these unwanted pollutants they lower the noise floor and subsequently improve the performance of the connected product. This improves dynamics, detail retrieval whilst remaining natural and organic in presentation.
In reality you can connect anything in your system to a ground box – integrated amp, phono stage, dac, streamer, router and a network switch. Simply take an Entreq ground cable, connect to your amplifier via an unused RCA socket and connect the hook end of the cable to the back of the ground box.
The benefit this offers is rarely instant, it takes a little while for it to start working. In numerous situations, a system was connected to a box and within a moment or two of the music starting the customer said something like ‘I can’t hear the difference’, it’s very rare to hear it straight away, but once connected up for a little while (usually 30 minutes or so) something happens. The system gains more focus, becomes more natural. Experience learned in most cases it takes a good 24 hours for it to reach optimum performance, draining the noise/pollutants out of the signal path into the box takes some time and if you disconnect the box you will lose the benefits.
Infinity Ground Cables
There is an extensive range of ground cables available, they all have their place in the right system and on the right component, the different cables will deliver quite different results depending on the system and what you are looking for, some of the differences are not subtle. Apollo is consistently the most popular cable, followed by Challenger but they are quite different from each another.

“. . .food for thought in a general sense, a no-brainer as an audio upgrade.“
Audio Ramblings – The Entreq Grounding Boxes by Dave Clark @ positive-feedback.com
“This is more of all that and then some…” More weight, dynamic slam, drive… bigger, better, faster. Transparency and resolution above what we had prior… this is way cool. Not the least bit analytical or in your face… all very balanced and right.”
