A high-quality power supply for your entire audio and video system
The POWER STRIP was developed with just one goal in mind: to create the very best power strip for your A/V set. All our knowledge and development results from recent years, combined with countless comparisons with well-known and exotic power strips, have been incorporated into the development of this power strip. The result exceeds all expectations. Firstly, regarding sound and image quality, but secondly, the mechanical construction is also top-class, using only the best materials. With the POWER STRIP, you can easily achieve an impressive improvement to your set.
Many of our customers asked us for a simpler and more affordable alternative to our advanced POWER SOURCE. This led to the development of the POWER STRIP.
A good power strip is essential for the power supply of your set and has a major influence on the final sound and image quality. In practice, however, standard plastic power strips of the type found in DIY stores are often used to power high-quality audio and video systems, in combination with really good power cords. It is not difficult to imagine that power loss and mains pollution caused by an inferior power strip cannot be compensated for or repaired afterwards. Not even with the best audiophile power cables available.
Many brands and types of audiophile power strips are available. However, they all use shared power rails for phase, neutral, and ground. This means that the current from the first outlet affects the current from subsequent outlets and vice versa. The POWER STRIP uses star wiring for phase, neutral, and ground from a single point, thereby eliminating this problem.
Each outlet has its own power supply, connected with 3 x 2.5 mm² (13 AWG) KE-POWER WIRE. We deliberately refrained from using fuses and a switch, as both clearly affect dynamics and sound quality. The high-quality stainless steel housing protects against EMI/RFI and features an advanced grounding circuit.
We have also applied the technology of our SNS PLUG to a module: the SNS MODULE. This SNS module is located directly at the input (star point) of the POWER STRIP. SNS stands for “Shunt Noise Suppressor”.
The main advantage of a parallel noise suppressor is the absence of components (such as a coil) connected in series with the outputs. The SNS module is connected in parallel to the input, meaning it cannot limit the current (and therefore the dynamics in your music). This means unlimited dynamics.
When connected to the POWER STRIP, your system delivers a cleaner and more spacious reproduction with much richer and more powerful bass right from the start. The POWER STRIP is a fundamental improvement to all aspects of your system’s sound quality. It will likely last longer than most components.
Like any audio component, our POWER STRIP needs to be broken in for at least a month to achieve maximum performance.
