IeGO Dreamworks is a manufacturer of audiophile-grade cables and connectors, and produces some of the best connectors available – regardless of price. Based in Taiwan and in business since 2000, leGO manufactures parts for many of the worlds top cable companies. One of their best products is a pure silver IEC connector, because of the unparalleled high purity, and for a price that others charge for silver or rhodium plated connectors. IeGo products are manufactured in-house, they use Furukawa copper as the base material for all of their copper based connectors unlike many competitors, who use phosphor bronze and brass, which is not as good a conductor as pure copper. The 99,99% pure Japanese “prime grade red copper” is acid-bathed to remove impurities and the entire connector is deep cryogenically treated at -240°C for 20 hours to relieve internal stresses within the material, which also improves conductivity and hardness of the material, so the contacts are not bent. The IeGo IEC plug is made from pure silver with a rhodium plating to prevent oxidation and then hand polished. The housing is a special PVC manufactured in Japan by General.

I bought the IeGo silver IEC plug to fit to the cable feeding my DAC/Streamer.
The terminations are different to some manufacturers and will only accept bare cable or ferrules, not spades like Furutech IECâs.
Initially, after powering up the system after installing the Silver IeGo IEC, I experienced a mellow tone to the music, quite the opposite of normal Rhodium or silver connectors.
The burn-in period was very long with these connectors with ups and downs in frequency response, having recessed mids until around 400 hours, then a lack of bass depth and power until 800-1000 hours.
After 1000-1200 hours, the sound settled and I can now say these are the best IEC connectors Iâve used and they produce a lovely balanced tone with excellent bass power and depth.
The grip on the IEC socket is also very strong.
I also use the Gold plated copper version on a power supply and will upgrade more of my IECâs in the future with the IeGoâs.

The Rhodium plated silver IeGo plug is excellent. It brings a natural ease to the music, yet gives the music more energy and precision at the same time. The best Iâve heard.
